Our attention to environmental issues is reflected in all business processes which in a variety of ways contribute to the success of the activities, whether they are operational or administrative, promoting sustainable management of our meal service in canteens, in external distribution centres and of transported meals.
Our purchasing policy gives priority to external partners who are able to pursue the same environmental objectives and have the tools, procedures and certifications that confim such commitment, with clear and shared improvement targets year on year.
We joined a project (“Siticibo”) promoted by the Banco Alimentare Foundation to implement a campaign to collect unused food surpluses (destined for disposal) from our canteens, and share it to meet the food needs of those Facilities or Social Solidarity Institutions for the less fortunate.
