    THE LOWEST RATIO IN OUR MARKET

    The injury frequency ratio measures the number of injuries per million hours occurred in a given period, sector and geographical area, against the number of hours worked in the same period, sector and geographical area. The ratio is multiplied by one million (10 ^ 6) so as to avoid values that are numerically too small.
    It is the ratio between the number of injuries and the duration of risk exposure, both homogeneously confined in time and space (territory, plant, department, sector etc.) The formula is: number of total injuries x 1,000,000 / number of working hours
